This is just to announce that I have tentatively begun to recite and discuss poems on Spotify. The first podcast, unimaginatively titled 'The Beginning', is already up there. I am still learning how to use the app, so I am likely to go about ham-handedly for a while: please bear with me. For now, I think clicking on this link will take you to where I want you to go. Alternatively you can search for Suvro Sir's beloved poetry on the app (yes, it seems you need to download the app first, unless you already have it - but it is free, and would take you less than five minutes). Give me fifteen minutes of your time: listen and tell me about it.
P.S., April 27: The second episode has been uploaded. The link is here.
P.P.S.: May 07: The third episode has been uploaded: here.

All the best for your new adventure.
Sir, I have just listened to your second recording. What you have explained about poetry is not only true but also extremely important. There are already several excellent books on this subject by eminent writers. Two of the most memorable ones I have read or listened to are The Ode Less Travelled by Stephen Fry and Catching Life by the Throat by Josephine Hart.
I would especially recommend the audiobooks over the paperbacks, as they are beautifully recorded. They have left a lasting impression on me and will remain etched in my memory for years to come.
Dear Suvroda
Other than the two years when I was in your class, I never really read poetry. I am looking forward to your spotify channel. I have already heard the two episodes and they are marvellous. Thank you.
Regards
Tanmoy
Thank you, both Rajdeep and Tanmoy. I hope you keep listening and spread the word in your own circles. And please write comments here, because (till today) I cannot access them on my Spotify mobile app, God knows why.
Sir🌻
Excellent choice of poetry❣️ Ulysses especially filled me with nostalgia and I remembered the time when you taught us that poem😊 Thank you so much🙏
