I
have been living with this song since I was fourteen. I react to it at 51 as I
did then. (Listen to the instrumental: I find it even grander...)
All that
has changed is that today I know there exists no woman who
deserves to be serenaded like this by a man who is a man.

Dear Sir,
True indeed! I think that this song is timeless in quality, but maybe the time it referred to is long past us. The story about the two cuckoos, one of them being Lord Galahad springs to mind- and now, most songs are being written not to woo, or serenade or court- but to force!
With best wishes,
Debarshi
Dear Sir,
I can almost hear Euripides agreeing with you!
It's a scary thought. Like something that you thought was there never actually existed, and ones life was built on nothing but air.
One cannot even call on hope.
There is only music, the only abstraction that the soul can relate to.
Do take care.
With regards,
Aakash
Living with music for the last seventeen years have truly been enlightening for me.
