Would you mind if I made two requests?
1. Please take the trouble to vote on the poll posted on the right hand side (if you haven't already). I've got 90 votes: once it crosses one hundred I'll be able to make a serious decision about continuing this blog.
2. I notice that some readers have enlisted themselves as 'followers' of this blog (I didn't know that this facility existed!). I know, also, that lots of others visit frequently: would they mind enlisting themselves similarly? It would help me and many others to keep track of one another: clicking on the 'follower' link takes you to that person's profile and (if there's one) personal blog.

I wish to say thanks to all those kind people who have voted within two days of writing this last blogpost. It feels good to know that so many people out there like to read my blog. Makes it all seem worthwhile
The vote will remain open for another two months.
... and I am waiting to see more people enlisting as 'followers'.
Sir I read your blog regularly and I would like to talk to you on some "adult" matters. Where can I post them sir?I have not created my blog yet but would like to statr one once I know certain things. I would like to have your advice sir.
Anurupa,
Go to blogger.com and log in with your gmail i.d. and password. After that click on the tour, and then click on 'Create blog now', and the website will tell you the rest of how to. If you want further tips, email me.
Sir
Sir,
Though I've never been your student, I've heard a lot about you (courtsey my older brother who was your student, and a lot of my friends from Carmel '97 batch who were your students); and I chanced upon this blog quite accidentally sometime last year. Ever since, I've read it as often as I could, and commented on a few posts too.
What I like the most about your blog is, that it makes me think. Most of the other stuff that one gets to read online these days, does not provoke one to think...but most of your posts do, which is why I keep coming back.
I hope to be able to read more of your posts in the coming days.

Sumitha Kurien
Dear Sumitha,
Thanks for the comment. My whole purpose is to make some people think. Very few are doing that these days, you see, and it is my firm belief that most of the world's current problems stem from that one malaise! But please don't write anonymously in future: I nearly deleted it without checking, because most people who write with anonymous i.d.s do so only to abuse, and they are too spineless to say who they are!
I am now eagerly waiting to see how soon more than 100 people have voted that the blog is 'all of the above'. Also, I am sure that the 'follower' list is going to be much longer - a lot of people simply haven't noticed the request yet.
"Anon's best" is my blogger profile name. Sorry about the confusion!
Regards,
Sumitha Kurien
