Having seen and heard what sometimes seems to be way too much, it occurred to me recently that it wouldn't have been such a bad thing to have been born blind and deaf.
Respected Sir. True, but I would beg to differ on that note. Don't you think that there will always be some who have seen or heard worse (in case you are alluding to a way to shun the foul things)??? Had you been born blind and deaf, you would also have missed out on certain things that still warm your heart.

You are right, of course, Avik. Thanks. It's only that sometimes, as the poet said, the world is too much with us...
